Be a great TEammate

The inspiration behind our name: The 3C Group

Our team name is inspired from a letter that Brad Stevens – a Zionsville native who coached basketball at Butler University and went on to be the general manager of the NBA champion Boston Celtics – wrote to his daughter Kinsley. In it, he describes how great teammates can lift an entire team:

· Great teammates always put others first – they are true servants.

· Great teammates raise the energy in the room.

·  Great teammates listen and are empathetic.

He concludes:

When times are good, be the great teammate that others want to celebrate with. When times are tough, be the great teammate who offers a shoulder to be leaned on. When you get older, you’ll realize that it wasn’t about the good or bad times, it was about who you navigated those times with, the lessons that you learned and the relationships that you forged.

Brad’s inspirational message to his daughter epitomizes the philosophy behind The 3C Group. We strive to be great teammates to our wealth management clients, to all the colleagues on our team and to the Indiana community that has given us so much.

Being a great teammate

Clients

Being a great teammate to you, our client, starts with getting to know you on a personal level – what’s important to you. It also means providing the resources you need to thrive, like our own in-house financial and tax planner, or our investment in our team of client associates who can give you the attention and service you deserve.

Our Process

Colleagues

Being teammates to our colleagues means acknowledging that we all have different skill sets, expertise and personalities. These differences, rather than being a source of friction, are a source of strength. Ours is a collaborative practice where everyone lifts each other up.

Meet the Team

Community

Our commitment to serve extends to the communities that have given us so much. We give of our time, talent and treasure to the Bloomington and Franklin communities because these are the areas where we live and work, and we’re committed to doing our part to help them flourish.
